Hillary Clinton follows Bush to Baghdad

Her thunder had been stolen by US President George W Bush [ Images ], but former US first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton nevertheless kept her date with American troops in Iraq.

The senator arrived in Baghdad on Friday after sharing Thanksgiving [ Images ] dinner with US troops in Afghanistan on Thursday.

She was accompanied by fellow senator Jack Reed (Rhode Island) on the scheduled visit .
